TimberKing offers four different portable sawmill models to serve four very different needs.
The 1220 is a "weekend warrior" mill, ideally suited to small, occasional cutting projects at home, on the farm, or at a hunting or fishing camp. The 1220 produces beautiful lumber, but because it is a fully manual mill, it doesn't provide the productive capacity of our larger mills.
The 1600 is for the sawyer who needs more productive capacity than the fully-manual 1220 but doesn't need the high production of an industrial mill. The 1600's automated features - hydraulic power feed, hydraulic blade up/down and available hydraulic log loaders - dramatically increase production over manual mills.
The 2000 is TimberKing’s most popular mill. It’s the classic choice for folks who need full hydraulic automation in a 4-Post Mill. The 2000 is fully automated for significant production: hydraulic power feed, hydraulic blade up/down, hydraulic log loaders, hydraulic log turner, hydraulic log dog, hydraulic bi-directional chain log turner and hydraulic toe boards. In addition to this the 2000 carries the same advanced computer setworks we put in the larger 2200 and 2400 mills.
The 2200 provides many of the same features as the 2000, but “beefed up” even more and with more power and capacity than the 2000. With its 49HP John Deere power the 2200 is the choice for folks with second-growth trees to cut who really need to get maximum production.
The 2400, is our biggest, most powerful machine, made
especially for professional operations that need to be able
to handle the biggest logs. With the 2400's huge 36" throat
and jumbo 39" cutting capacity, you go into any job
knowing your mill can handle it. Plus, lots of local circle
mills won't take logs this big - so prices on huge logs can
be low… yet the wood that comes out of them is worth
just as much!
Perhaps most important, the 2000, 2200 and 2400 are
available with a computer board thickness control. That
means you get perfectly dimensioned lumber, board after
board after board.
